New Front Door
Welcome to my new front door! Isn't it spiffy? Isn't it great?
Why the change you ask? Well, I couldn't figure out how to have my blog be private, and still have people have RSS feeds into their reader. All the things I did, all the googling and all the searching came up with the answer that it really couldn't be done, due to the fact that it was ... A Private Blog. I get that, but then people forget to check in, miss posts, miss weeks, miss months, and you fall off their radar. I had to figure out something. Having a public front door, where I would put notifications of the new posts and a link to the private blog was the only thing I could think of to facilitate the readers. So ... while not necessarily pretty or efficient, it works and here we are.
So far, it appears to be working for everyone. Let me know if you have any trouble being able to get through the door to the private blog behind. You should just have to log in and that's it.
